Super 8 Cameras. Cine cameras developed to use Super 8mm Motion Picture Film. Super 8mm cameras were first manufactured by Kodak in 1965 and continued to be produced until the 1980s when production died with the introduction of video cameras. Super 8 cameras were produced for amateurs and professionals. Professional versions featured manual settings as well as time lapse and slow motion features. In 2014 Logmar produced a new super 8 camera and Kodak will release a new super 8 camera in 2017.
